Description
An attractive cultivar of a cottage garden favourite. Clumps of delicate variegated foliage play host to stems of pretty light blue flowers in April and May. The cream edged leaves of Polemonium reptans 'Stairway to Heaven' are heat tolerant and develop a lovely pink tinge when grown in full sun. Jacobs Ladder is a versatile hardy perennial that needs little maintenance and makes a pleasing companion for Hostas in shadier positions. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Polemonium plants in sun or semi shade. Polemonium plants prefer a well drained, moist, fertile soil. On drier soils, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or compost prior to planting.
More Info
Water plants regularly throughout summer until fully established. Deadhead faded Polemonium flowers regularly to encourage more blooms throughout the season. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Jacobs Ladder in spring to maintain their vigour.
