We're currently recruiting for an organised and enthusiastic individual to join us as an IT Helpdesk Support Assistant.
Working as part of our small IT team this role will be responsible for providing 1st line technical support to all users across our 2 Ipswich based sites, and will involve aiding with hardware/software problems, logging issues in line with our internal processes and providing training/advice to staff where required.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a front line support role with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems and use/troubleshooting of MS Office programs. Were looking for an approachable individual with excellent communication skills and proactive approach to query management. Basic understanding of PC hardware and set-up configuration is required.
Holding a full UK (or legal equivalent) driving license and a MCP certification would be of benefit but is not crucial if you are the right candidate for us.
Flexibility is crucial as whilst the contracted hours will be 9am to 6pm (40 hours per week with 1 hour daily lunch break), there will be times when some evening or weekend cover may be required during busy seasonal periods. Part time applicants will be considered.
