eCommerce Assistant

We're currently recruiting for an eCommerce Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

E-commerce is a key channel for us and as such we're always adding new offers and products, and continually looking at ways to make improvements. When over 2 million customers interact with us via our website, the detail is crucial. Operating across multiple marketplaces as well as our own group, our web team are constantly kept busy so we're looking for someone who is capable of multitasking at a fast pace and who is prepared to get stuck in, making sure the essential tasks are completed to a high standard.

Examples of required tasks:

  • Preparing, creating and sending out email newsletters to our customer database
  • Adding products and sales offers to the websites and marketplaces (principally Amazon and eBay)
  • Understanding customer behaviour to optimise products and key pages in order to maximise selling opportunities and customer experience
  • Liaising with agencies to maximise PPC and affiliate sales
  • Reviewing market trends to help ensure continuous improvements of our offering
  • Daily administration as required

Candidate Profile:

  • Able to work quickly, and accurately, with excellent attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment and keeping to deadlines
  • A desire to learn and a 'can-do' attitude is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office (notably Excel and Word)
  • Experience of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements is desirable but not essential

Customer Service Supervisor

Managing the workloads within our (inbound) busy call centre, you'll be responsible for making sure all of our customer contacts are answered quickly and efficiently. Aiming for first time resolution, a friendly but efficient service, leaving the customer delighted are the goals we set for our team. You'll ensure that workloads are managed effectively, reacting to demands and meeting service levels.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that workloads are effectively managed, meeting service levels for all customer contact channels
  • Organising & co-ordinating break management effectively
  • Key holder responsibilities including locking and opening up the site & department
  • Supporting agents with query management

The candidate:

Being motivated and passionate about customer service is essential in this fast paced call centre environment. You must be flexible and have a hands-on attitude that's all about getting the job done whilst working under pressure. To be organised and motivational, ideally in a customer service environment, understanding KPIs and how to meet them.

Hours of work is based on a 2 weekly shift pattern that covers some evenings and alternate weekends as well as week days. Shifts work no later than 8pm (plus locking up time) Monday to Friday, and 6pm at weekends. A copy of the shift is available on request.

Sales & Marketing Administrator

We're currently recruiting for Sales & Marketing Administrator to join our team. Full training will be provided and there are excellent career prospects for the right candidate in this, the fastest growing area of our business. Examples of required tasks:

  • Populating marketing spreadsheets with product information including up to date costing information using internal reports
  • Assisting with planning and set up of new ranges, categories and promotions across all sales channels

  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor pricing and activity
  • Collating product specification details and sales media for marketing activity including but not limited to photography, imagery, copy and VT footage

Our Customer Service agents are responsible for every aspect of our customers' experience, from the initial processing of orders right through to handling enquiries. We receive contact through a range of channels such as telephone, post, email and social media.

Successful candidates will need to be motivated, have excellent communication skills and understand what it means to deliver good service. Previous experience working within customer service will be an advantage but is not essential. If you're a keen gardener, even better!
