Digitalis 'Dalmatian Mixed' looks magnificent in cottage gardens and woodland borders - but thanks to their uniform branching habit, these statuesque foxgloves make fabulous annual bedding too! These short lived perennials will happily seed about to create dramatic drifts and attract wildlife to their nectar rich flowers. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 40cm (16").

Flowering Months
Water foxglove plants regularly until fully established. Foxgloves self-seed freely. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead stems of foxglove flowers as the blooms fade. In autumn, cut back old stems to encourage plenty of new side shoots. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, toxic if eaten.
Pot up digitalis plants and grow them on in frost free conditions for transplanting outdoors later on. When plants are well-grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before planting them in borders and containers in sun or partial shade. Although foxgloves prefer a fertile, moist soil, they will happily tolerate almost any soil except those that are excessively dry or waterlogged.

Too long in post 2016-02-06

Got the email saying they had been despatched. Unfortunately they were sent in the post before a bank holiday! When they arrived on 31st the box said they were packaged on the 26th. As you can imagine the 'micro' plugs didn't look too great after being in the post for 5 days!!! I've potted them up so I'm hoping they pick up if not I will be getting back in touch! On a good note the packaging was very good as always compared to other places I've ordered from. Also this is the first time I've had any issues with anything you have sent!

T&M replied on 2016-06-02: Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to learn of your disappointment with your purchase. They may not pick up as they've been so long in the post. At your earliest convenience please contact our Customer Care Department at ccare@thompson-morgan.com, one of our agents will be more than happy to look into this further for you.

The plant grew fine and produced a reasonable display although the plants were on the small side.

T&M replied on 2015-10-07: Thank you very much for your review. I am glad that you have been happy with this product, although I am sorry to learn that they have not produced the expected results.
