How to Grow
Vitex agnus-castus 'Albus' is a rarely seen shrub with narrow, aromatic foliage. The slender white flower spikes are borne in late summer and early autumn, attracting bees and butterflies to its rich nectar. This upright, spreading shrub is often mistaken for Buddleja but has a far more refined appearance. A superb choice for a sunny spot where it is protected from cold winds, and particularly effective in a Mediterranean planting schemes and cottage garden borders. Height and spread: 180cm (70").

Plant out Vitex into any moist, well drained soil in full sun. Vitex are generally tough plants and will thrive in most conditions provided the soil isn't dry. In frost prone areas, shelter from cold, drying winds.
More Info Feed and water Vitex plants regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, Vitex require only occasional attention. Prune annually for a more compact look.
