Description
This beautiful lavatera has masses of saucer shaped soft pink flowers up to 7cm across that smother its branches from June to September. The bright green foliage of Lavatera clementii ‘Rosea’ provides a stunning contrast to its eye-catching blooms. Extremely long-flowering, this vigorous tree mallow will happily grow in a large pot or mixed border. Please note, it will require pruning to keep compact.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow lavatera plants in borders and containers outdoors in moist, well drained soil in full sun. When growing lavatera in containers use a soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
More Info
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, lavatera plants require only occasional attention. Pruning lavatera is best undertaken in spring when all risk of frost has passed and the buds begin to swell. Prune all stems hard to about 30cm above ground level. Mallow can be slow to break bud in spring so be patient with plants that might appear to have died over winter as they may still be dormant.
