Description
Upright spires of palest, china blue flowers are produced over a long period throughout summer. Veronica gentianoides is an elegant hardy perennial with glossy, dark green foliage that forms a dense carpet. Gentian Speedwell makes a lovely choice for creeping through moist rockeries or edging borders. Its graceful stems also make delightful cut flowers for summer bouquets. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

2 x 1 litre potted veronica plants (T82248P)

How to Grow
When planting Veronica, choose a sunny or semi-shaded position in moist, fertile, well drained soil. Veronica prefers a fertile, humus rich soil so work some well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
More Info
Deadhead faded Veronica flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In autumn, cut back old foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant.
