Thuja occidentalis 'Golden Smaragd' is a bright yellow-green version of 'Smaragd', turning a shade more golden during the winter. This slow growing conifer forms a conical, dense tree over time. Flushes of new spring growth show lovely yellow tinges, making a perfect focal point where a vertical feature is desired. This hardy evergreen also makes an excellent hedging plant either on its own, or perhaps inter-planted with the greener variety 'Smaragd' for a colour contrast. Height: to 5m (16'). Spread: to 1.7m (5',6").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
