Description
As the name suggests, Juniperus communis 'Green Carpet' is a low growing, ground-hugging conifer. Its spreading branches are covered with bright green, aromatic foliage, and extend up to 1.5m (5') over time. Awarded an RHS AGM for its garden performance, this superb Common Juniper is best grown as evergreen ground cover at the edge of rockeries and borders. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 1.5m (5').

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
More Info
Water Juniper plants regularly throughout the growing season until fully established. Juniper does not require any pruning. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
