Potentilla fruticosa 'Mandarin Tango'Shrubby Cinquefoil

Potentilla fruticosa ‘Mandarin Tango’ adds a splash of bright colour to borders for months. Masses of orange flowers with red tints smother low mounds of finely textured foliage from May to September. 

Potentilla are hardy, deciduous shrubs that are perfect for the front of sunny, free-draining borders. These hardworking and undemanding shrubs flower continuously through summer and most of the autumn, their saucer-shaped blooms shining out amongst low mounds of tiny, mid-green foliage that provides excellent ground cover. Drought-tolerant, they are perfect for rockeries, patios and courtyard gardens where they can be grown in the open ground or in containers. The nectar-rich flowers attract a host of beneficial insects making them great for wildlife gardens too. Height and spread 60cm (24in).
