A popular and well loved variety with a compact dwarf habit that is perfect for containers. Nandina domestica 'Fire Power' bears clusters of starry white flowers in summer that give way to shiny red berries in late summer. As the autumn approaches, the bamboo-like foliage turns to fiery red, bringing a fabulous splash of colour to the garden. This hardy semi-evergreen shrub has a long season of interest and requires little maintenance. A worthy addition to borders and patio containers. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Grow Nandina in a moist, but well-drained soil in a sheltered position in full sun. Plants will tolerate a wide range of soils, from sand to chalk and clay.
More Info Heavenly Bamboo plants are low-maintenance and easy to grow, requiring very little pruning, simply tidy plants after flowering to remove and dead, damaged or unshapely growth.
