Description

Lupin 'Lupini Pink' is a delightful addition to any garden, particularly for those with limited space. This compact perennial from the Lupini series is celebrated for its neat growth habit and charming soft pink flower spikes. Its manageable size makes it an excellent choice for smaller gardens, container arrangements, and as a vibrant front-of-border plant. With its traditional lupin appeal, it brings a touch of elegance without overwhelming the landscape, making it a favorite among gardeners looking for beauty in a compact form.

The plant produces dense, upright spikes adorned with pale to mid-pink, pea-like flowers that bloom from late spring into early summer. For those who enjoy a continuous display of color, prompt deadheading can encourage repeat blooming, extending the flowering season. Its dwarf, bushy growth habit not only makes it perfect for pots and patios but also allows it to thrive in compact garden spaces, where it can be appreciated up close. Additionally, the flowers are a magnet for bees and other pollinators, enhancing the biodiversity of wildlife gardens and supporting local ecosystems.

To ensure optimal growth, 'Lupini Pink' thrives in full sun and prefers moist yet well-drained soil. While it is generally hardy in the UK and low-maintenance once established, providing shelter from strong winds and protecting young shoots from slugs and snails can help it flourish. The deep green, palmate foliage at the base adds a lovely texture and contrast to the delicate flowers, creating a visually appealing display throughout the growing season. This combination of beauty and practicality makes Lupin 'Lupini Pink' a wonderful choice for any gardener looking to enhance their outdoor space. Height: 40 cm (16 in) Spread: 30 cm (12 in)
