Majestic spires of white, lilac and blue delphinium flowers in a blend of no less than seven shades! This compact dwarf variety has all the presence of its taller cousins without the need for staking. The perfect solution for adding colour and structure to cottage garden perennial borders, even in windy areas. You can even cut some of their regal blooms for a striking flower arrangement indoors. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 45cm (18").

How to Grow

Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds, on moist, well drained soil. Protect young delphiniums from slugs and snails.

Feed and water delphinium plants until they are fully established. Delphinium 'Magic Fountains' is a compact variety which should not require staking except on very windy sites. Deadhead faded delphinium flowers to encourage a second flush to be produced. Caution: All parts of delphinium are harmful if eaten and contact with the foliage may irritate the skin and eyes.
