Hardy Tree

Low Maintenance Garden

Sun or semi shade

Description
Add structure to the garden with this slender, upright conifer. Juniperus communis 'Arnold' has a narrow, conical habit that forms a densely branched, handsome specimen tree which won't get out of hand. Like all Common Junipers, its feathery blue-green foliage is pungently aromatic. This manageable evergreen tree is ideal for creating texture and colour that persists throughout the year. Height: 3m (10'). Spread: 60cm (2').

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
More Info
Water Juniper plants regularly throughout the growing season until fully established. Juniper does not require any pruning. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
