Description
The neat grey-green leaves and small pale blue flowers make this half-hardy perennial an attractive addition to borders and containers. At it’s most effective when grown in full sun and when fully established, Coleus canina ‘Scaredy Cat’ is undemanding and surprisingly drought tolerant. Cats, dogs, rabbits, and even foxes hate the pungent scented foliage of this plant! Thankfully this cat deterrent plant can only be smelled by humans when it is touched. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 40cm (16").

How to Grow
Pot up coleus plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions for transplanting into borders and containers later on. When all risk of frost has passed and plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise Scaredy Cat plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant into sunny borders on any well drained soil.
More Info
Feed and water plants regularly. Scaredy Cat plants may be overwintered if moved to a bright frost free position. Divide overcrowded clumps of coleus plants in spring to maintain their vigour.
