Description
This Sawara Cypress makes a compact slow growing specimen. Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Baby Blue' forms a dense cone shaped conifer with handsome silver-blue foliage. During particularly cold periods it may take on attractive purple tones that add to its appeal. This striking evergreen is particularly eye-catching when grown alongside darker conifers for an attractive contrast. Height: 100cm (39”). Spread: 80cm (31”).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Cypress trees in moist, well drained soil. Chamaecyparis prefers a neutral or acid soil but does tolerate chalky soils well. Choose a position in full sun.
More Info
Once established, Cypress trees require virtually no maintenance. When grown as a hedge, prune Chamaecyparis at any time between late spring and early autumn, taking care not to prune into older wood.
