Flowering Months

Stunning, intensely pink leaves in spring, change to a deep red with a gold marginal ring as the season progresses. Berberis ‘Orange Sunrise’ is a lovely deciduous shrub that works well as a solitary garden or patio plant, but is equally suited to hedging where it can be kept clipped to shape to form a low border hedge. Height and Spread: 1m (39”).

How to Grow

Plant Berberis in full sun or partial shade, on a reliably moist, well-drained soil. Barberry plants are extremely resilient and will grow on many different soil types, except waterlogged.

Berberis require little maintenance once established. Trim back the stems lightly after flowering, removing dead or damaged growth at the same time.
