Description
A deservedly popular variety, grown for its glossy, dark green foliage and clusters of starry white flowers which open from pink buds. The flowers appear in the depths of winter, when few other plants dare to bloom. Flowers are followed by metallic blue berries which make an eye catching display. Viburnum tinus 'Eve Price' forms a bushy, rounded, evergreen shrub with a dense, spreading habit. When planted in mixed borders, woodland areas and wildlife gardens, it will prove itself indispensible for its year round colour and interest. Height: 2.5m (8').

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Viburnum plants in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any moderately fertile, well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Viburnum shrubs at the same depth as they were planted in their pots. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
More Info
Water regularly throughout the growing season until plants are fully established. In spring, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant. Viburnum tinus requires minimal pruning. Trim Viburnum plants in summer after flowering to fit the available space, or to remove any dead or damaged growth. Viburnum tinus can also be renovated with harder pruning in spring if they become poorly shaped after a few years.
