Nodding spurred blooms, in a range of pretty colours are carried delicately on tall wiry stems. These charming Columbines will quickly naturalise to form a crowd of spring blooms. Aquilegia 'Mrs Scott Elliot's Hybrids' are perfectly suited to cottage garden borders and woodland planting schemes - they make fabulous cut flowers too. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 40cm (16").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

2 x 1 litre potted aquilegia plants (T63853P)

How to Grow
Grow aquilegias in a sun or part shade in fertile, moist, well drained soil.
More Info
Columbines hybridize readily, be aware that any self-sown seedlings may not come true to type. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead faded aquilegia flowers to prevent them self seeding. Aquilegias dislike disturbance but overcrowded clumps may be lifted and divided in spring when necessary.
