The Weigela ‘Picobella Rosa’ is a stunning shrub which adds colour to the garden all the way from May through to October. It is a compact, bushy, and deciduous shrub and should be planted in a position where it can get either partial shade or full sun. Plant in well-drained, moist, and fertile soil either in a container or a border. The flowers are a shade of pink and trumpet-shaped, which add some delicate beauty wherever they are planted. Height 60cm (24in) and spread 100cm (39in).

Grow Weigela in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Weigela at the same depth as they were planted in their pots. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
More Info Water regularly throughout the growing season until young plants are fully established. In spring, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant. Weigela requires little pruning. After flowering cut back stems to a healthy bud and remove a fifth of the old stems to ground level.
