How to Grow
A particularly attractive variety of this rarely seen shrub. Often mistaken for Buddleja, this hardy aromatic shrub boasts slender foliage and late summer clusters of violet-blue flowers. Vitex agnus-castus 'Blue Puffball' is a particularly compact variety that makes a lovely border shrub or patio plant. Grow it in a sheltered spot where it can bask in the sun. Height and spread: 120cm (48”).

Plant out Vitex into any moist, well drained soil in full sun. Vitex are generally tough plants and will thrive in most conditions provided the soil isn't dry. In frost prone areas, shelter from cold, drying winds.
More Info Feed and water Vitex plants regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, Vitex require only occasional attention. Prune annually for a more compact look.
