Spiraea nipponica 'Snowmound' is the proud owner of a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, producing a mound of dark green foliage topped with small white flowers from March, resembling, as the name suggests, snow on top of a mound. Otherwise known as Tosa Spirea, you won't be disappointed by what this deciduous shrub has to offer. Height & Spread: 2.5m (8').

How to Grow

Grow Spiraea in a sunny position, in any fertile, moist, well-drained soil.

For best performance, prune flowered shoots of Spiraea plants immediately after flowering. Mature specimens can be cut back by a quarter of the old shoots to the base.
