Hybrid tea roses are a garden 'must have'! Each stem of these well branched rose bushes bears an individual, exquisitely formed bloom, that make superb cut flowers. Specially selected for their colour and form, our Rose ‘Breeders Choice Collection' make fabulous feature plants in mixed borders or as part of an established rose garden for a stunning summer display. Height: 1m (3'). Spread: 60cm (24"). Supplied as bare roots.

Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. Rosehips and petals can be used in making syrups and the petals will add flavour to cold drinks or fruit dishes. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Companion planting: Try growing roses with garlic, chives, thyme or mint to help deter aphids and blackfly.

3 bare root rose plants - 1 of each variety (T59112P)

How to Grow
Plant bare root roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
More Info
Feed and water rose plants regularly and deadhead faded flowers. When growing roses it is necessary to remove any suckers that arise from the base of the plant, below the graft union. In winter, begin pruning floribunda roses by removing dead and diseased wood, and any rubbing or damaged branches. Then reduce the stems to 20cm (10") above ground level. Side shoots should be reduced to two buds. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost to the base of the plant after pruning.
