Description

Rose 'Amirose' is a stunning compact groundcover rose that captivates with its enchanting color transitions, making it an excellent choice for smaller garden spaces. Starting as charming peach buds, the blooms evolve into a lovely pink before gracefully fading to a soft white, creating a beautiful display throughout the season. This rose not only offers a gentle fragrance that enhances the garden's atmosphere but also features double blooms that provide a radiant show.

Its low-growing, compact nature makes it perfect for groundcover, border fronts, and patio pots, while its impressive resistance to common rose diseases ensures vibrant foliage and extended blooming periods. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, it adapts well to various garden placements and prefers well-drained, fertile soil with a neutral to slightly acidic pH. The 'Amirose' rose is ideal for covering bare spots, adding color to low areas, and enhancing garden borders with its continuous color changes. Whether planted in containers or directly in the ground, this rose brings charm and practicality to any garden, making it a must-have for those seeking low-maintenance yet visually appealing groundcover options.

How to Grow
Plant roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.

For more information and guidance check out our Gardening Guides.

More Info
Feed and water rose plants regularly and deadhead faded flowers. When growing roses it is necessary to remove any suckers that arise from the base of the plant, below the graft union. In winter, begin pruning floribunda roses by removing dead and diseased wood, and any rubbing or damaged branches. Then reduce the stems to 20cm (10") above ground level. Side shoots should be reduced to two buds. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost to the base of the plant after pruning.
