Description
This attractive evergreen shrub is a ‘must have’ for bringing interest to spring borders. Pieris japonica 'Debutante' bears crowded panicles of urn-shaped, ivory-white flowers from March to May. The drooping blooms contrast well against a flush of burgundy foliage which slowly colours to green throughout the summer. This hardy shrub has a compact, rounded habit forming a mound of evergreen foliage that will bring year round colour and structure to borders and containers. Pieris japonica 'Debutante' holds an RHS AGM and provides a valuable source of spring nectar for pollinating insects. Height and spread: 90cm (36").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

More Info
Whilst your Pieris plants are young, they may require some winter protection. As they become established, you will find that Pieris plants will need very little pruning. After flowering, you can trim them to keep a good shape, and remove any dead or damaged growth. Caution: harmful if eaten.
