Description
How to Grow
Looking like drifts of snow when in full bloom, Phlox subulata ‘White Delight’ is a rewarding spring performer that is great for softening the edges of the garden landscape. This creeping Phlox forms cushiony mounds of needle-like, evergreen foliage that will drift along border edges, over sunny rockeries, walls and gravel gardens or tumble gently over the sides of a garden trough. In late spring, the foliage is blanketed in hundreds of tiny white flowers. This evergreen alpine enjoys a sunny, freely-draining position and is drought tolerant once established. Pollinators are drawn to the lightly fragrant blooms. Height: 15cm (6in). Spread: 50cm (20in).

Grow phlox plants in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
More Info Once established, moss phlox is reasonably drought tolerant and requires little attention, except occasional watering during particularly dry periods.
