Olive-green foliage marbled with purple provide a superb backdrop for the primrose yellow flowers of Nymphaea 'Marliacea Chromatella'. This majestic Water Lily is free flowering, continuing late into the season. Unlike most Water Lilies, this is one of the few that will tolerate a semi shaded position if necessary. A reliable variety that has been awarded a coveted RHS AGM. Height and spread: 90cm (36"). Planting depth: Zone 4 to 90cm (36") below water level.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow waterlilies in still water away from splashing fountains. Gently lower containers into the water and position them on temporary supports such as bricks so that they sit just 20cm (8") below the surface of the water. As the leaves grow to rest on the water surface, the container can be gradually lowered to its final depth below the water.
More Info
Remove yellowing leaves and faded flowers regularly. When the leaves of mature plants begin to emerge above the water surface, lift them from the water and divide overcrowded crowns. Repot young portions of the crown and discard the older portions.
