Description

Myosotis 'My Oh My' is a delightful and compact variety of forget-me-not that captivates with its profusion of delicate blue flowers. These charming blooms, adorned with sunny yellow centers, emerge in early to mid-spring, creating a stunning display that brightens up any garden space. The plant's tidy, mounding growth habit makes it an excellent choice for enhancing spring borders, filling containers, or contributing to naturalistic plantings, where it can effortlessly blend with other flora.

This variety forms a neat, rounded clump of soft, hairy green foliage that provides a lush backdrop for its vibrant flowers. Its compact size makes it particularly well-suited for the front of borders or as an attractive addition to pots, where it can be appreciated up close. Myosotis 'My Oh My' is also an excellent companion for spring bulbs like tulips and daffodils, as it thrives in the same conditions and can effectively underplant these taller blooms, adding layers of color and texture to the garden.

Preferring full sun to partial shade, this forget-me-not variety flourishes in moist but well-drained soil, making it a versatile choice for various garden settings, including cottage gardens, woodland edges, and shaded containers. Typically grown as a biennial or short-lived perennial, it has a gentle self-seeding nature that allows it to spread without becoming invasive. With its low maintenance requirements and resistance to pests, Myosotis 'My Oh My' is a charming addition to any garden, bringing both beauty and ease to the gardening experience. How to Grow
Pot up forget-me-not plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown, acclimatise myosotis plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting out on well drained, reliably moist soil in full sun or semi shade.

For more information and guidance check out our Gardening Guides.

More Info
Feed and water Forget Me Nots regularly until fully established. Myosotis sylvatica will often seed freely to create large clumps of seedlings that will flower in the following year.
