Hydrangea 'Double Dutch Gouda' is one of the amazing double flowered varieties known as 'Double Dutch' Hydrangeas. With a stunning cream coloured, mop headed flower, each with double florets, creating a densely packed bloom that is certain to draw your eye! Like all of its type, this Hydrangea will vary in colour intensity depending on the soil pH. Height: 120cm (47"). Spread: 120cm (47").

Hydrangeas prefers a position in shade or semi-shade, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any rich fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. More Info Leave the faded hydrangea flower heads in place until the new buds swell in spring to protect the delicate buds from frost damage. Prune the old stems after flowering, leaving the new growth in situ, as this Hydrangea flowers on new growth unlike most others. If necessary, Hydrangea paniculata will tolerate hard pruning of the oldest stems to a few buds from ground level. This will also encourage larger flower heads to be produced. After pruning hydrangeas, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost around the base of the plant. Caution: All parts of hydrangea will upset the stomach if eaten. The foliage may also aggravate skin allergies.
