This compact, evergreen shrub has a stiffly upright habit that naturally forms a dense column. The vertical stems are cloaked in small, dark green leaves with distinctive toothed margins. Euonymus japonicus 'Green Rocket' is slow growing and easy to maintain, needing virtually no maintenance once established. A great alternative to traditional formal evergreens such as Box, for bringing year round colour and structure to the garden. Superb in borders or containers, and copes well in tricky coastal locations.Height: 1m (39"). Spread: 50cm (19").

Euonymus plants are versatile, thriving in any soil from light and sandy to heavy clay provided that it is moist and well drained. Euonymus will grow happily in sun or semi shade; however variegation will be improved when grown in a sunny position.
