Each sunshine-yellow bloom is decorated with a central ring of cherry red blotches, which bleed along the length of the petals. The Firestars Series has been specially bred for their bicolour flowers and a dense, clump forming habit – this variety certainly won’t disappoint! Perfect for adding colour and movement to sunny herbaceous borders. Height: 75cm (29"). Spread: 10cm (14").

How to Grow

Grow Crocosmia in rich fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi shade. If necessary, improve soils by adding plenty of well rotted manure prior to planting.

Crocosmia requires little attention throughout the growing season. Remove old foliage and faded flower stems in autumn and apply a mulch of bark chips or well rotted compost to protect the corms over winter. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Crocosmia in spring to maintain their vigour.
