Flowering Months
A vigorous deciduous shrub, Cornelian Cherry, bears delicate clusters of bright yellow flowers on bare stems in early spring to add a touch of warm and cheerful colour when it's most needed in the garden. These blooms will turn into bright red berries as the seasons progress. Cornus mas also has interesting rich brown bark which flakes during the Winter after the leaves have turned from green to reds and purples during Autumn. Supplied as 60 - 80 cm bareroots (24 - 31"). Height:4m (13'). Spread: 4m (13'). Planting Distance: 30cm (12"). (4 plants per metre for a single line hedge).
