Sorry - we have had to temporarily suspend accepting new orders both online and by phone. We are experiencing unprecedented demand, and to maintain our high levels of customer service we need time to catch up processing existing orders. We are working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to catch up and hope that our site and order line will be open again in the next few days.

Description
This compact Hinoki Cypress is extremely slow growing taking many years to reach its mature height. With a loose pyramidal habit, Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana Gracilis' is an ideal choice for adding structure and evergreen colour to rockeries and borders. This dwarf conifer is easy to grow and needs virtually no maintenance once established. Height: 250cm (98"). Spread: 150cm (59").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Cypress trees in moist, well drained soil. Chamaecyparis prefers a neutral or acid soil but does tolerate chalky soils well. Choose a position in full sun.
More Info
Once established, Cypress trees require virtually no maintenance. When grown as a hedge, prune Chamaecyparis at any time between late spring and early autumn, taking care not to prune into older wood.
