Prepare to be seduced by this stunning breakthrough Camellia that features an extended season of interest as its romantic spring blooms give way to dark, sultry foliage. Fully double, crimson-red flowers are beautifully complemented by a dark green backdrop of evergreen foliage in spring. Then, as the flowers fade, Camellia ‘Femme Fatale’ reveals her dark side! New shoots emerge burgundy red providing a rich foliage backdrop for your summer perennials and bedding. With both fabulous flowers and foliage, Camellia japonica 'Femme Fatale' offers an extended season of interest that other Camellias cannot match. Ultimate height: 1.2m (4ft). Ultimate spread: 70cm (2.5ft).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Water regularly until plants are fully established. Where possible, use rainwater as the lime contained in tap water will reduce the acidity in the soil over time. Feed Camellias occasionally with fertiliser for acid-loving plants. Protect plants from cold winter winds and strong early morning sunlight, as this may cause the buds to drop in early spring.
Camellias will appreciate an autumn mulch to protect their roots from winter cold. Camellias require little pruning other than to maintain their shape. Lightly trim stems and remove faded blooms immediately after flowering.
