Description
Scallop-edged leaves with white undersides and a covering of silvery fur give this evergreen shrub a really tactile appearance. Closely related to Ragwort, Brachyglottis 'Drysdale' bears yellow, daisy-like flowers throughout summer. This compact little shrub is well suited to coastal conditions and makes a good addition to sunny Mediterranean style planting schemes; a pleasing, drought tolerant plant for sunny borders. Although hardy, it prefers some shelter during particularly cold periods. Height and spread: 60cm (24").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Brachyglottis in any well drained soil in full sun. Brachyglottis is wind tolerant and makes a good choice for coastal locations, but will appreciate some protection during especially cold periods.
More Info
Brachyglottis requires little maintenance once established. Lightly trim after flowering if necessary, to maintain a neat bushy appearance.
