Description

The ideal plant for coastal gardens and seaside locations. Sea Thrift is robust, clump-forming, evergreen plant with grassy foliage and lollipop-like flowers in pure white.

A reliable perennial which is recommended for beginners. An easy plant to establish in the garden, giving summer colour from May to August. Height: 25cm (10"). Spread: 50cm (19").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

1 x 1 litre potted armeria plant (58306)
2 x 1 litre potted armeria plants (T58307P)
3 x 1 litre potted armeria plants (T77457P)

How to Grow
Plant Armeria in full sun on well drained soil. Sea Thrift is tolerant of poor sandy soils once established and copes well in coastal areas. On heavier soils, incorporate plenty of grit to improve drainage, prior to planting.
More Info
Deadhead faded flowers to extend the flowering season throughout the summer. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of armeria in spring to maintain their vigour.
