Description
Daisy-like flowers stretch out their petals to form a carpet of dazzling colour. These spreading woodland perennials create a great profusion of charming blue, pink and white anemone flowers over many weeks throughout spring. With lush, fern-like foliage, windflowers are ideal for woodlands, wildlife gardens, and rockeries, or planting beneath trees and shrubs. Try naturalising them in lawns for a really breathtaking effect. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 15cm (6").

How to Grow
Anemone blanda bulbs should be soaked in water overnight prior to planting. Plant the tubers in large groups at a depth of 5cm (2”) deep. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position in well drained soil where they can be left to grow undisturbed.
More Info
Anemone blanda plants require a dry, dormant period in summer when the foliage begins to die back after flowering in early summer. Do not water them during this period. In autumn, apply a dry mulch of leaf mould or chipped bark to protect the bulbs from winter wet.
