Feed and water Thalictrum plants regularly until fully established. In autumn, remove old foliage and faded Thalictrum flower stems to ground level. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
When planting your Thalictrum, choose a position in semi shade or dappled on reliably moist, well-drained, fertile soil. Work some compost or general fertiliser into the top 20cm of the soil when planting. Taller species may need support to protect their flowering stems.
