Streptocarpus ‘Polka-Dot Pink’ is a naturally occurring sport from the highly popular variety, ‘Polka-Dot Purple’. The flowers bear a gorgeous filigree patterning of bright pink veins against a white background and pair beautifully with its sister plant, ‘Polka Dot Purple’. Height 16-18cm. (6-7in). Spread: 34cm (13in). Â
Streptocarpus make stunning houseplants. Clusters of exotic-looking blooms are produced for at least nine months of the year in an endless array of vibrant shades and colour combinations, rising on slender stems above rosettes of wrinkled, green leaves. They create a superb focal point on a sunny windowsill or in the conservatory. Striking good looks and an easy going nature make this Cape Primrose a perfect gift for beginners and seasoned growers alike.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

March to September
Place your Streptocarpus in a bright spot in indirect light. Do not expose to hot, direct sunlight. An east or west-facing windowsill is perfect. Water regularly as the compost begins to dry out but avoid letting the plant sit in water. Feed fortnightly with a proprietary houseplant feed. As the plant grows, repot as necessary in spring into a slightly larger pot.
October to February
Move to a south facing windowsill if possible. Only water when the compost dries out and don’t feed. Remove any dead leaves and debris to minimise the chance of pests and diseases.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
