Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
Recently introduced from American breeding, the ‘Sunsparkler’ series is already making a name for itself. These showy little Stonecrops have been selected for their fabulous leaf colour, neat growth habit and large, showy flower heads. The low, spreading stems form dense cushions of foliage that make perfect groundcover in alpine gardens and rockeries, or for softening the edges of paths. Try planting them in troughs and containers - they make a colourful centrepiece for the patio table. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 45cm (18").
  • Collection comprises:
  • Sedum 'Sunsparkler Cherry Tart' - An explosion of deep pink flowers contrast beautifully with the dark cherry-red foliage.
  • Sedum 'Sunsparkler Dazzleberry' - Smokey-grey foliage with late summer panicles of starry red flowers.
  • Sedum 'Sunsparkler Firecracker' - Deep burgundy leaves cloak the spreading stems contrasting beautifully with the bright pink, star-shaped flowers.
  • Sedum 'Sunsparkler Lime Zinger' - Zesty green leaves with claret red edges form a fabulous, dense cushion of fleshy, rounded foliage.

Flowering Months
When growing sedum, water regularly during particularly hot dry periods until the plants are fully established. Cut back the old stems and foliage of spreading stonecrop plants after flowering to maintain their shape. Sedum is drought tolerant once fully established. Caution: All parts are harmful if eaten.
Grow sedum in a sunny position in fertile, well drained, non acidic soil that has been enriched with well rotted manure or garden compost.
