Description
Produce your own crops in the smallest of spaces with this exceptional new autumn-fruiting Raspberry. With a neat and compact habit, Raspberry 'Little Sweet Sister' is ideal for patio pots, reaching just 90cm tall. Better still, you can be enjoying fresh raspberries from this primocane variety from the middle of July - weeks ahead of other autumn cultivars! The juicy, dark red fruits have all the mouth-watering flavour that you would expect from fresh-picked Raspberries. Like all primocanes, it is easy to grow, and pruning couldn’t be simpler! Height and spread: 90cm (36").

1 x 13cm potted raspberry plant (KB7551)
2 x 13cm potted raspberry plants (KB7552)
1 x 12cm potted plants (KB7495)
2 x 12cm potted plants (KB7504)

How to Grow
Grow autumn fruiting raspberry plants in a sunny position in any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the planting hole. Plant raspberry canes in rows allowing a distance of 60cm (24”) between plants. Firm in and water well. Canes should be pruned to 30cm (12”) immediately following planting to encourage more shoots to be produced. Autumn fruiting varieties do not require supports for their stems. They can also be grown in large containers of soil based compost such as John Innes no.3.
More Info
Water well for the first year until plants are fully established. When berries begin to develop, place a net over the plants to protect the crop from birds. Prune raspberry canes to ground level each February and apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the canes. This will help to retain moisture throughout the summer.
