Description
How to Grow
Ranunculus flammula thrives in the shallow margins of ponds. This British native perennial has a loose, sprawling habit that makes ideal cover for wildlife. The branching stems bear a profusion of primrose-yellow flowers from early summer, attracting throngs of pollinating insects. A lovely choice for disguising the edges of wildlife ponds. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 45cm (18"). Planting depth: Zone 2 to 10cm (4") below water level.

Grow Ranunculus flammula submerged in the shallow margins of a pond with the crown to a maximum depth of up to 10cm (4") below water level. Choose a position in sun or semi shade.
More Info Deadhead faded stems to prolong flowering. In autumn, cut back old stems to just above water level to make way for new growth in the spring.
