Sowing
Sow from February to early June. Greenhouse plants can be started early in deep trays, pots or root trainers filled with a quality seed compost. Set each nut 3-5cm (1-2") below the surface and water in to settle. Place in a propagator or clear polythene bag aiming for a temperature of 18-21C. Keep compost moist until germination, which can take upto 21 days. Outdoor sowings can be made in May when soils are warm, but watch out for late frosts.
More Info
