Description
Despite their small stature, these star performers have been bred to take centre stage in the garden, bringing the X Factor to your summer borders. Phlox 'Popstars Mixed' is one of the most talked about plants in the growing industry, and is sure to be a talking point among home gardeners too! The blooms may be less than the size of a penny, but their serrated edging, star shape and marbled colouring make each one a mini work of art! Free-flowering in a wonderful array of colours, these easy to grow hardy annual plants are a must for borders and cottage gardens. Their small size and heavy blooming make them ideal for containers too, where you can really show off the vibrant colours and intriguing flower shapes. Weather tolerant, bushy and compact, Phlox 'Popstars Mixed' is self cleaning, requiring no deadheading - faded blooms are simply replaced by fresh new buds to bring up to five months of colour to the garden. Height and spread: 25cm (10").

Garden Ready Plants - Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.

How to Grow
Pot up phlox plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into their final positions. Grow phlox plants in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
More Info
Feed and water regularly, particularly during dry periods, until young phlox plants are fully established. After flowering, lightly shear the stems to encourage lots of fresh new growth.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
