Flowering Months
Feed and water osteospermum plants regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded osteospermum flowers throughout the flowering period to encourage more blooms to be produced.
Pot up hardy osteospermum daisies and grow them on in frost free conditions until plants are well grown. When plants are well developed and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors into borders and patio containers. Grow osteospermum plants in any well drained soil in a warm, sheltered position in full sun. African Daisies dislike cold wet soils. Improve heavy soil prior to planting by adding plenty of coarse grit.

Osteospermum 2015-04-20

Received Osteospermum Serenity collection last week, potted them on same day. Already one of the purple variety is no longer with us and another purple one is not looking too good. All the other colours seem ok at present

2 out of three ain't bad. 2015-03-26

Tresco purple didn't make it. I potted up all three when I received these plants They've been in a cold frame over winter. Both the pink and white have survived but the tresco purple didn't like the cold. I'm assuming it was the cold that killed them. The plants turned black. It wasnt the hardest winter and whilst they didn't have heat they were always covered. So white and pink look healthy but the purple didn't make it. I'm giving a review in case there is something that might be wrong with these plants and not complaining. I truly don't expect every plant I receive to survive as I may be responsible. You never know, but it is strange that all six are fine and the three of the same name aren't.

Pretty 2014-06-22

Very pretty flowers. However, none of the dark pink plants haven't made it though the winter even though it was mild and only two of the white ones have. The medium pink are thriving.

Stunning flowers 2014-05-17

Bought these in 2013, and they flowered first season very pretty, but this year they have exploded into a mass of flower since late April, deadheading them but a month on still flowering prolifically. Definitely will recommend these.

T&M replied on 2014-05-20: Thank you for your review. I hope we can continue to be of service.

Mixed results 2014-02-07

Similar experience to barry preece. Planted all together last year. The medium pink are great, easily 5*. The whites have gone, and one feeble dark pink left, so no stars there. (Was not the cold: almost no frost, and many hanging basket plants survived the winter.)

Stunning 2012-10-09

Really good grower and the white is really stunning. Hoping they will overwinter ok and ordering some more as they easily beat the slugs where others failed this year!

Great Plugs 2012-09-14

Received these "plugs" yesterday and was impressed at the size and health of the plants. Biggest plugs I've received before. Jumbo indeed. Now potted up and hopefully will do well over winter in the greenhouse.

Healthy plugs 2012-09-11

Received my plugs this morning - I'm really impressed with the size and the healthy plants. I will definitely buy again! A. Wallace
