Description
Here's a wonderfully versatile perennial! Nepeta 'Neptune' works well planted in clumps on its own in a border or as a companion plant in a container. This hardy perennial sends up airy spikes of purple-blue flowers above aromatic, mint-scented foliage. Early to bloom, with a compact, bushy habit. This charming Dwarf Catmint is perfect for cottage garden herbaceous borders or adding colour and fragrance to patio containers. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

How to Grow
Pot up Nepeta plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When all risk of frost has passed and plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Grow Catmint plants outdoors in any well drained garden soil in full sun or semi shade.
More Info
Water regularly until Catmint plants are fully established. Cut back individual flower stems as they fade to encourage a second flush of Catmint flowers to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Nepeta plants in spring.
