Description
Moroccan mint is likely one of the most well-known varieties and is very popular due to its sweet flavour. If you want to invite the pollinators into your garden it is the perfect choice, whether it is in a border or a herb garden. It can be quite invasive so in the spring or autumn it can be divided up. Ideal for making teas, jellies or as a garnish. It is even known for its medicinal uses such as relieving symptoms for IBS, freshening breath and helps with a sore throat. Height 60cm (24”) and spread 100cm (39”).

How to Grow
Grow mint on any well drained soil in full sun or partial shade at a distance of 30cm (12") apart. Alternatively grow mint in containers to control its vigorous growth.
More Info
Once established mint requires little aftercare. Harvest mint leaves before the flowers develop and use them fresh, dried or frozen. Cut back the old stems in autumn and repot container-grown plants annually in spring.
