Description
How to Grow
The pretty lilac blooms of the Allegheny Monkey Flower are borne on stiff, upright stems throughout the summer. Mimulus ringens has narrower foliage than other Mimulus and a neat, clump forming habit. This attractive hardy perennial is at its best when planted in large colonies at the edge of ponds and streams, or grown in drifts in bog gardens. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 30cm (12"). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 15cm (6") below water level.

Grow this moisture loving Mimulus in boggy soils or submerged in the shallow margins of ponds with the crown to a maximum depth of up to 15cm (6") below water level. Choose a position in sun or dappled shade.
More Info Once established Mimulus requires little aftercare. Cut back the old stems in autumn to maintain a tidy appearance.
