How to Grow
Mimulus cupreus 'Red Emperor' is perfect for adding a splash of colour to bog gardens, damp borders and moist pond edges. Rich red, trumpet-shaped flowers smother the oval, toothed foliage all summer long. With a neat, clump forming habit, this hardy perennial Monkey Flower makes a vibrant addition to ornamental planting schemes. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 50cm (20"). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 10cm (4") below water level.

Grow this moisture loving Mimulus in boggy soils or submerged in the shallow margins of ponds with the crown to a maximum depth of up to 10cm (4") below water level. Choose a position in sun or dappled shade.
More Info Once established Mimulus requires little aftercare. Cut back the old stems in autumn to maintain a tidy appearance.
