Description
Known commonly in the legume family as the Thunberg Bush Clover, Lespedeza thunbergii is a hardy, deciduous shrub with long, annual, arching shoots bearing trifoliate leaves of blue-green. In early autumn, rose-purple pea-like flowers appear, producing a blanket effect over the plant. It is best grown up against a wall or fence in full sun. A very worthy winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height: 1.5m (5'). Spread: 2.5m (8').

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
