Flowering Months
Water regularly throughout summer until lavender plants are fully established. Once established, they are reasonably drought tolerant. Immediately after flowering, prune English lavender back to within 2cm (1") of the previous year's growth to maintain a compact, well shaped plant. Culinary idea: Make delicious lavender sugar or lavender and mint jelly from the freshly picked flowers.
Pot up plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown, acclimatise English lavender plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting out on free draining soil in full sun. Lavenders dislike wet ground, particularly during winter. Improve heavy soil conditions by adding coarse grit or sharp sand prior to planting. When growing English lavender in large patio containers, use a well drained soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3. After planting, prune lavender plants to encourage bushy growth.

French Delight 2012-12-21

I bought 100 of these for my garden in France. I needed the smaller variety of lavender which was not easily available in France. The plugs were very sturdy and healthy when they arrived and spent their first 3 months they were in my UK greenhouse. In May they came to France and Wow - they took off like rockets and in their first season they have surpassed all our expectations. The scent is heady and divine, their growth is excellent and every single plant survived. We are now looking forward to 2013 to their 2nd season here to see just how well lthey do.

Second year 2012-06-22

These have been growing lovely, this is their second year in the garden and my friends gardens, they are a lovely size now.

Very Promising 2012-06-03

Slightly smaller than Id envisaged however it must be said they are extremely well presented very sturdy compact little plugs & certainly 70 out 72 have excellent root systems. Im certainly very pleased with them.

Perfect 2012-05-22

I brought these last year and brought some more this year for another part of the garden. The fast growth and display last year was stunning. The scent is to die for and they survived the winter. If you are wanting a lavender border, then these are a very good buy. Thank you again T&M for an excellent product.
